It turns out that putting together large community events is fairly expensive… We can’t do it without your support. This event is 100% funded by community members and local businesses. An outline of our annual expenses is below. While these amounts change some year to year, they typically stay in this ballpark!

  • Fireworks $10,800

  • Ignitors $900

  • Porta-Potties $1,150*

  • Insurance $3,500*

  • Equipment repairs/upgrades $1,000

  • Misc (parade permits, meals for volunteers, thank-yous etc.) $500

  • Raising extra to do something BIG for 2026 (250th anniversary of America) $10,000
